  Authorized Person (End-User)

Work-at-Height programs require demonstrations of knowledge through hands-on, experiential exercises of all items of fall protection equipment and related skills that an employer must train on.  Training information is current and accurate, but more importantly all students "learn by doing".   All training programs comply with ANSI/ASSE Z359.2 - Minimum Requirements for a Comprehensive Managed Fall Protection Program as well as the applicable occupational safety laws of the jurisdiction in which the training is being delivered (OSHA 1926.503, 1910.30, Cal OSHA, WA DOSH, Oregon OSHA, EM385, etc.).

WAH Authorized Person Training includes:

    • Work-at-Height Training Tri-fold (view sample)
    • Pre-training Needs Assessment Conference Call(s)
    • Professional Instruction meeting ANSI Z359.2, OSHA, State or USACE requirements
    • Customized content according to Needs Assessment and applicable jurisdiction
    • Digital Wallet Certificate (photo optional)
    • Work-at-Height customer assistance
    • Experiential, hands-on, exercises for all equipment identified in the Needs Assessment

The Authorized Person course is designed for people who work at height and experience exposure to fall hazards.  This course includes information, demonstration, and hands-on exercises for each item of all protection equipment that a person is expected to use.  This course reviews, demonstrates, and verifies that all students can conduct a pre-use inspection, connect to, wear, and operate all fall protection equipment that the employer has available to them.   Depending on the scope of the work, the course length can vary from 4-24 hours.
